Meet our Team

Clare Kearney
Clare is Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia, and Massage Association of Nova Scotia. She has over a decade of experience as an Registered Massage Therapist.
She is a BBTRS Breathwork Practitioner, a certified yoga instructor, Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner, and is currently in her third year of studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Halifax.
Her treatment approach aims to meet the clients needs of the moment and aims to restore optimal function of the body, joints and fascia as well as deeply supporting the nervous system.
Clare is delighted to be offering Sessions at Kindred Health Collective this winter:
The Osteopathic Student Sessions include in-depth assessment and intakes, treatments may include:Muscle Technique, Myofacial Release techniques, Joint mobilizations, Craniosacral techniques, Functional Emergency Technique, General OsteopathicTechnique, BiodynamicCranial Sacral Therapy, breath awareness and Meditation Techniques.
She will be offering private Breathwork and Restorative Yoga Sessions she will be offering monthly group sessions in both ceremonial modalities.
Kathleen Crowell
Kathleen Crowell is a skilled acupuncturist with a passion for helping others manage pain and improve their overall well-being. Graduating in 2015 from a rigorous two-year program, where she completed 2,200 hours of study, she brings a deep understanding of traditional acupuncture techniques. Specializing in pain management, Kathleen uses a variety of modalities, including gua sha, tui na, and cupping, to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Originally from the Eastern Shore, Kathleen is dedicated to supporting her local community's health. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with friends and family, embracing the balance of work and personal life.


Maria Payne
Maria is a registered massage therapist with over eight years of experience, specializing in sports massage and women’s health. Her work with various teams and athletes has enriched her understanding of the human body. In 2022, she completed her yoga teacher training, integrating yoga principles into her therapy to promote the body’s natural healing abilities.
Currently studying osteopathy, Maria is committed to lifelong learning and believes that health is intrinsic. Her unique approach combines physical therapy with mindful movement.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys travel, yoga, Brazillian jujitsu and connecting with nature through hiking, camping and surfing.
Don Brownrigg - Osteopathy
Don Brownrigg combines scientific expertise with artistic sensibility in his manual osteopathic practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University, where he was a competitive rower and student leader. His career began as a civilian kinesiologist for the Canadian Armed Forces before completing the five-year osteopathic manual therapy program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy/Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques. He has advanced training in osteopathic impulses, pediatrics, and William G. Sutherland's techniques.
An acclaimed artist, Don's music has been featured on The Blacklist and American Idol, with three albums to his name. His work in theatre and puppetry has taken him worldwide, and as a project and event manager he has collaborated with Halifax Pride, the National Arts Centre, and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
Don’s osteopathic approach blends scientific precision with a creative, individualized perspective, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s unique healing journey.
